I could be completely wrong but when I read this I identified so strongly with the doubt that it made me wonder whether this kind of 'could I be completely wrong?' thing might well be a common symptom of late-diagnosed autism. Because without any understanding of why our own experiences can vary so widely from others' experiences, even though in terms of factual events they may be the same, makes you wonder if... makes you question your most instinctive and natural reactions and feelings and thoughts!
